How do I know if I qualify for treatment?

Because signs and symptoms of hormone deficiencies vary with each patient only clinical symptoms, physical exam, medical history and lab results will determine if a patient qualifies for treatment.

Why don't traditional doctors prescribe hormone replacement therapy?

At New Age Health Solutions we specialize in bio-identical HRT. Traditional doctors don't generally possess the expertise in treating patients with bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

How long will it take before I begin to see results?

While it varies with each person, most patients begin to notice the effects after 4-6 weeks depending upon the type of hormone replacement therapy. However optimal results are usually experienced within three to six months, this is the time needed to truly optimize hormone levels.

Do I need to stay on hormone replacement therapy forever?

In order to maintain the many benefits of HRT, you must keep your hormone levels optimized. If you decide to stop hormone replacement therapy, your hormone levels will return to where they were prior to initiating your program. As a result many of the symptoms you were experiencing will return.

Can New Age Health Solutions use blood-work that I have already had done?

We can use previous blood-work if your lab results are less than one year old and include the lab tests we require. These lab tests are very specific and are used to identify hormone deficiencies as well as assess your overall health and qualify you for a HRT program.

Will my insurance cover the cost of the program?

It depends on the type of insurance but in general most insurance plans will usually cover the cost of routine blood-work. Because New Age Health Solutions is not insurance based, we do not accept insurance for physical exams, physician consultations and prescription medications.
